IDEA 7.0 Betas keep progressing
Since a few weeks Jetbrains has been pushing out betas of IDEA 7.0. Although they are sometimes a bit flakey, there is a lot of good new stuff in these. They are also making ‘Eclipse Style’ release notes now, with screenshots of the most notable new features.

In-memory databases are very useful for running inside of unit tests for example. It is the main reason why we still use HSQL in unit tests.

IDEA 6.0.2 Released
Jetbrains released IDEA 6.0.2 today. Although it is a minor update, more then 800 issues have been resolved. Download here and read the release notes here.
17407 Jar files later …
The Dutch Maven 2.0 repository mirror is back online. Took about 14 hours to transfer 17407 jar files with a grand total of 8.2 GB of code. Just imagine how much source code that is
