Facial Recognition and the limits of Privacy Law
The Harvard Law Review published an interesting article titled “In the face of danger: facial recognition and the limits of privacy law“.
Although I don’t agree with everything in the article (it is mostly based on speculation since Polar Rose is not live yet), it is an interesting subject and a relevant and needed discussion now that new search companies are emerging.
Unfortunately the article does not name it’s authors. I think my collegues at Polar Rose would love to have a good discussion with them about face recognition and privacy issues.
The comments on Slashdot are also very interesting; they range from ‘cool! bring it on!’ to ‘evil technology!’. It will be an interesting but heated discussion I think!
