17407 Jar files later …
The Dutch Maven 2.0 repository mirror is back online. Took about 14 hours to transfer 17407 jar files with a grand total of 8.2 GB of code. Just imagine how much source code that is
See the original blog entry on how to use this speedy european Maven 2.0. It is just a matter of modifying your ~/.m2/settings.xml.
Jason van Zyl, one of the people behind Maven and Mergere also coordinated a name change that will probably be used later on. This repository is now officially nl001.repo.maven.org. I’m not sure what that means for now or what the plans are but I’ll figure that out and post it here later. For now the repository will have two names, so don’t worry about it.
